The Tasmanian Government announced in November 2013, that they planned to increase the first home building boost grant to $23,000. The largest grant offered by a state in the country.

Eligible participants will need to enter a contract for a new house or building contract. In addition to the $23,000 FHBB, first homeowners may also be eligible for the $7,000 first homeowners’ grant.

Sheds n Homes Launceston’s customers who intend on building a steel kit home may be eligible for the two grants, which would help significantly to build your dream home.

Other terms and conditions apply, so make sure you visit the Tasmanian Government’s website to see if you meet all the criteria and are eligible for the two first homeowners’ grants.
